was wondering what every body is paying for trash pick up weekly service i have waste manegment they are charging me like 145.99 every three months? and i got got something in mail box from waste connections saying 16.50 a month and one month free ??? even with out one month free thats 49.50 for three monthas im paying three times that. and wm wants $80 if i cancel there service to pick up old dumpster? the kicker is it is not there dumpster it is my old companys i think they got bought out by wm long ago. but i never got a new dumpser from wm?

If WM bought out your old hauler, they probably bought all their assets, including dumpsters currently at customers, so it IS theirs.

How big is your current dumpster? Are you sure the quote from Waste Connections is for the same size dumpster?

I pay about $18 a month total. It’s a private company contracted by the city and the fee is tacked onto my water bill. That’s for a 32 cu foot “Toter”, a similar size for recycling, and unlimited yard waste pickup in season.

I meant to correct this earlier… mine is 32 gallons, not cu feet. Ooops.
