How about in the South (VA, NC, SC, GA, TN, KY)?

What do you want to do with your AS?. I started out with one but made sure I continued on with my education until I completed my MBA.
If you are going for business go for management jobs/asst manager for example-or sales. There are many industries that pay well and they will pay for you to continue on with your education. (At least get the Bachelors degree).

All those states you listed run the gamut in cities and jobs offered. You could go to Nashville Tn and do well but be in a small city in Tn and $9hr jobs are the norm. I think the Nova area is one of the best as far as job opportunity goes-but you WILL need way more than $30k to do well.
