Oh, man. I am not having much luck with this picture thing. Got an email from photobucket yesterday saying I was improperly linking. Emailed them back saying I was confused, that I was copying the direct link like I thought I was supposed to. Got an email this morning saying to disregard their 1st email, that it was a mistake. I guess my photos disappearing might have something to do with that?

I also deleted some from the photobucket website awhile back, after I posted (trying not to use up too much webspace room I guess.) I wonder if I am supposed to keep the pictures up there indefinitely if I have a link to them here? If that's the problem? Anyone know?

Thanks for letting me know lovethewest. Are they still gone?? or are they fixed now? I can see them, but I know that doesn't necessarily mean everyone else can. If someone could let me know, I'd appreciate it. I'll repost them if they are all gone.

(There's the great blue heron, and then a Jackson hole maze sign, and autumn in Gillette...)

Thanks.

hey emeraldsky...
If you can see them here, they are up. But once you post a picture here (with photobucket hosting it), you definitely need to leave the picture in it's original place (folder, whatever) in photobucket. Otherwise, the link gets broken and all we'll see here is a little "x" in a box!

Red cliff?? Which one?? That entire place is a series of red cliffs.

I do love the Ten Sleep area. If making a living was not an issue Ten Sleep would be on my top 5 list with Cody, Lander, Lovell/GreyBull, and the Sheridan area. I REALLY like the Big Horn Basin, but my wife and I make a good living right now in Gillette so we really don't have the ability to move anytime soon. The place I work for has 12 locations in Wyoming, so a transfer in the future is not out of the question. The problem is that most of the areas I would prefer to live are smaller and our stores there aren't large enough to justify my position.

One of these days we will buy our own business and the Big Horn Basin will be the place we look.

Thank you all for the great pictures. We are in the process of moving to Wyoming. Moving a big family and business is a lot of work. I just love seeing the places I will visit with my children this summer while Hubby is working lol. We may let him come play every once in a while. Absolutely Beautiful. Thank again

Thanks for sharing yyz1. Population 7, wow. Is that for real? Plenty of elbow room there...

In the 2nd picture, is that where Esther lived? First woman Justice of the Peace in the world. Cool. We were born on the same day, Feb.14. Or is that the day she died? I appreciate WY's reputation for women's suffrage, advancement and all.

Yeah, it is. The town is basically split into two parts, the part where people live (the first pic) and the "tourist" part (third pic) where Morris' house is located. There's a small fee for visiting but well worth it. They've really gone out of their way to keep it very authentic looking.
