Description: Brunswick Premier has 48 lanes, a pro shop, a cocktail lounge, a snack bar, and a Pizza Hut Express. This is a busy facility, so reservations are highly recommended (weekdays only; on weekends it’s first come, first served). There are competitive and “just-for-fun” leagues as well as leagues for kids and seniors. Weekend price is $4.89 per person per game, or take advantage of multiple special packages, like on Tuesday and Thursday shoes, soda, and game for $1.50 an hour.

Description: This is a small tennis center with 14 courts located on the campus of Southwestern College. Though courts are sometimes in use for classes or clinics, there’s no charge for play. Check at the pro shop for current open-play hours. The courts are staffed by tennis pros, and group and private lessons are available for beginning, intermediate, and advanced players, be they juniors or adults. Clients as young as age 4 can begin honing their skills. Clinics, skill development sessions, and match play are available. Courts are open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 or 7:00 p.m., and play is on a first-come, first-served basis. Sundays excepted, make sure to purchase a $2.00 day-parking permit and park in the student lot to avoid a fine.
