Description: Surrounded by woods, this B&B on a former Christmas tree farm is a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxing, rural getaway. The house is rustic, with rough-hewn logs fitted together on notches, but inside the one roomy suite has a fireplace and Jacuzzi, while the second guest room has a shower only. Both rooms have satellite television and a DVD player, as well as Wi-Fi (although the knotty pine walls remind you you’re out in the country). A loft adjoining the guest rooms has a refrigerator and microwave for guest use, and is stocked with drinks and snacks. Save room, though, for the big country breakfast, which emphasizes fresh ingredients and includes a selection of eggs, ham, fruit, and bread, as well as great coffee, which you may want to take outside to watch the birds in the trees. Rooms are not wheelchair accessible and pets are not permitted. There’s an additional charge of $35 for a third person to stay in each room.
