Address: 408 Fannin St.

Description: This station, built in the 1950s, is one of the oldest terminals in the Greyhound system. And while the building shows its age, it continues to be an efficient station ready to welcome you to town, send you to see New Orleans for a weekend for approximately $50 round trip, or direct you to other cities in the country. There has been recent discussion of relocating the station to a newer, more modern facility and leveling this grand old structure to construct a downtown park. These plans, however, continue to be in what is known as the “just talking” phase. An on-site restaurant serves standard fare, and the waiting area is comfortable. You can easily catch a local bus since you are a short walk from the main SporTran station or call for a taxi. This facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is continuously busy with arrivals and departures. Discounts for students, military personnel, families, and people who book their tickets online are available.
