Description: The Billy Graham Library is a 40,000-square-foot facility that takes visitors through the life and legacy of this Charlotte native who’s been called America’s Pastor. Graham is a South Baptist evangelist who grew up on a farm not far from this site. He has met with every U.S. President since Harry Truman, and personally counseled Dwight Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.The Graham Library is a barn-shaped structure that documents Graham’s journey from humble farm boy to one of the most recognizable religious figures in the world. Learn about this legend through multimedia presentations, interactive kiosks, photos, and memorabilia.Also available for touring is Graham’s boyhood home, which was relocated and restored. Admission is free. Hours of operation are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon through Sat.
