Description: Enjoy deep-sea bottom fishing aboard the New Capt. Bill, Capt. Bill III, and New Inlet Princess. Trips range from41⁄2 to 25 hours. Rods, manual reels, bait, and tackle are provided on the shorter trips; electric reels are available only for the much longer deep-sea voyages. Fishing licenses are provided for all anglers who charter from here. Air-conditioned cabins and full food service are featured on all of Captain Dick’s vessels. Fishing excursions cost anywhere from $44 to $259 per adult. Special sportfishing junkets can be booked by individuals or groups of six for a half day, three-quarter day, or full day in Gulf Stream waters. Prices range from $599 to $1,399. Captain Dick’s also runs Dolphin Watch tours daily for $29 for adults and $19 for children.

Description: Wacca-Wache maintains 109 floating slips, 15 of which are available for transient vessels. This marina also offers 120 dry-storage slips and a choice of 30-, 50-, or 100-amp electrical hookups. Additional services include cable TV hookups, a pump-out station, gasoline and diesel fuel, a ship’s store, laundry facilities, and showers. A courtesy car is available to transient boaters for an hour at a time to boaters docked at the marina. Wacca-Wache is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during peak boating season, generally June through Sept.

Description: For cruising or fishing the inlet only, Captain Dick’s rents 15-foot fiberglass johnboats with 15-hp outboard motors. Each boat accommodates up to four people and rents for $99 for four hours, $149 for eight hours. Pontoon boats for up to 16 people are available for $269 for eight hours and $189 for four hours. Life jackets, fuel, safety equipment, and licenses are included in the rental package. For an additional charge, you can also rent a rod and reel for the trip. Kayaks are offered for $25 for a half day and $45 for a full day. Boat rentals are offered Easter through Thanksgiving. Parasailing trips are an option, too.

Description: Parasailing flights are booked from this marina year-round, weather permitting. Bookings slow down considerably beginning in Oct and continuing throughout winter when winds are friskier and waters choppier. For about $55 you can enjoy a nearly two-hour boat trip and 12 to 15 minutes of soaring 200 to 300 feet above the ocean. Captain Dick’s also rents genuine Yamaha WaveRunners. Cost is $75 for 45 minutes of riding inlet channels out into the ocean. You must be at least 16 years old to drive the Jet Ski or have an adult 18 or older on the same Jet Ski. There is no minimum age to ride, but all riders must be large enough to be secure in a life jacket.
