Description: A magnificent view of Bear Butte greets you as you turn off SR 34 into Glencoe CampResort. Glencoe is open mainly during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally but will accept groups of 200 or more during the rest of the year. The 1,000 RV sites with full hookups are close to the entrance, and then the dirt road winds around to more than 100 cottonwood-shaded, creekside acres for tent camping. Chemical toilets and water faucets are located throughout the grounds. During the Sturgis Rally & Races each Aug, campers can buy meals that are prepared in an enclosed kitchen and served in a covered eating area with seating for 320. Campers are required to purchase a $200 wristband during Rally week, as the owners bring in top name entertainment nightly, and campsites are extra. The campground is 3 miles east of town.
