Description: This fairly upscale restaurant has a fancy interior (check out the four-sided fireplace) to match its classy hand-cut steak and seafood menu, although you an also order a good old-fashioned hamburger or a salad entree, as well. Specialties here include Parmesan-crusted grouper, New Orleans shrimp pasta, and the meat loaf stack with white cheddar mashed potatoes. The restaurant is also known for its Black & Bleu Salad—sirloin steak over greens with Cajun fried onions and bleu cheese crumbles. If you’re an onion ring fan, you’ll love the signature onion ring appetizer with jalapeno ranch dressing. You can get draft beer here as well as bottled domestic and imported brews, and you’ll find the wine list impressive.

Description: Right next door to Bullfish is the Flying Horse Grill, Bullfish’s sister restaurant. It’s named for the custom-made Italian carousel you can see through the window from the parkway (complete with 17 classic horses, a pair of rocking horses, a rocking chariot, and a spinning teacup, all aglitter with 550 lights). Feel free to grab a ride while you’re waiting for your table; the attraction is a big hit with kids and kids at heart alike. The contemporary American menu here includes such dishes as barbeque baby back ribs, pecan trout, a variety of specialty salads and pastas as well as a chicken potpie that’s easily enough for two.

Description: If you’re not amused by the crazy hibachi chefs here, you’re bound to be entertained by owner Tommy Kinkaku, who used to be (believe it or not) a chemical engineer. Dinner entrees at Kinkaku come with soup, salad, fried rice, and vegetables. Two of the most popular entrees include the filet mignon and scallops and the salmon and tuna. Japanese beer and sake are also among the offerings. Kinkaku plans to add a sushi bar in the near future.
