Description: This is the area’s newest shopping center (opened in Mar 2010). It’s one of the latest concepts in malls, open air with the feel of an old downtown. There are free parking lots around the center, but it really gets authentic if you want to park in front of a store. You’ll have to have quarters to feed the meter, but the proceeds go to Peninsula nonprofits. Stores include Target, Blue Ridge Mountain Sports, Express, Chico’s, H&M, JCPenney, Macy’s, The Limited, and McDonald Garden Market.

They also offer 16 Garden Markets selling annuals, perennials, edibles, trees, and garden accessories at a variety of neighborhood shopping centers. And they have a landscape design division as well. Description: This giant outdoors shop is part spectacle and all business. People drive long distances to shop at a Bass Pro location, and this only store in Hampton Roads is no exception. There’s lots more than bass fishing gear being sold here. There’s a full gun shop and a Tracker Boat Center as well. The store features a cascading waterfall and a huge bass tank where experts give outdoor skills workshops. There’s a 40-foot rock climbing wall and a full archery range inside.
