    Observed a food employee preparing/handling toast with bare hands.
  • Prohibiting animals
    The establishment maintains an ice making machine in an adjacent portion of the building that houses an auto body repair shop. The auto body repair shop is separated from the remainder of the food service establishment via a solid wall and a door. A dog was observed in the auto body shop. The dog also has access to the area where the ice machine is maintained.

    Cutting board and table surface directly beneath on the pizza prep table were not clean. It was determined that these food contact surfaces are not cleaned at an adequate frequency (1-2 times per week) as indicated by the Person-In-Charge.
  • The ability to explain the responsibility of the person in charge for preventing the transmission of foodborne disease by a food employee who has a disease or medical condition that may cause foodborne disease.

    Partially cooked bacon on pan above hot oil fryer was 78 degrees F. The bacon was placed onto the flat grill and the cooking process was completed. Corrected on site. Pyrex container of sausage gravy on counter top was 89 degrees F.
  • Material characteristics of non-food contact surfaces
    Kitchen counter top, beneath the serving window, has a large crack. The crack had an accumulation of food debris from pervious days operations.

the specials are good. if you order a hamburger, tenderloin, fries, or onion rings, prepare for a OVER LOAD of GREASE. sandwich buns are soaked in grease. Ended up throwing it in the trash. Fries and Onion Rings were so greasy they couldn't be eaten. Service is poor to fair. Prices are good. Ambience is basically a get together for locals to have lunch and catch up. Cleanliness, seemed to be in order.
