--Jar (glass sugar dispenser) of facility-made "smoked garlic" in olive oil found on pantry shelf discarded during inspection. Such products MUST be kept refrigerated. Continue with the clean out of "old" foods from freezer and refrigerator storage.
- Preventing Contamination from Ice Used as a Coolant (46.286)
--Drink ice not separated from coolant ice used to chill soda manifold / lines. Reviewed standards for separate ice dispensing bin. Correct immediately (see below).
- Storing Clean Items (46.774)
--Extra, unused utensils, cooking equipment, roasters stored directly on the floor under stationary equipment in kitchen. Same issue with the bar pantry area, inventory and single-service items stored directly on floor, where there is storage room in the cupboards. Correct immediately.
- Air Gap Requirement, Design of Backflow Prevention & Conditioning Devices (46.822(c)-(e))
--No air gap / physical break in the drain pipe between the ice bin and the sanitary sewer line. Ice bin drain is hard plumbed into sanitary sewer line / bar sink drain line. Correct immediately.
- Handwashing Facility - Handwash Cleanser, Hand Drying, Signage, Handwash Aids or Devices Use Restriction (46.941(b)-(e))
--Paper towels in a holder, handsoap and given sign must be provided at designated handwash basin (middle basin) of kitchen 3 bowl sink. Correct immediately.
- 3 C.S, 6501-6510 (FEC)
--Food facility operator failed to post an original, valid Food Employee Certification in a location conspicuous to the consumer. At present, the owner Donald Beveridge's Serv Safe certificate is a photo copy that is at best confusing, the dates don't make sense 9/19/2012 and 9/19/2015 printed on the standard 5-year certificate (nor can you read what the dates refer to).
