General Comments that relate to this Inspection School kitchen (childcare) does not prepare lunch. Lunches are provided by parents for thier individual child. Snacks are provided by center. Childcare center can serve crackers; cereal; milk and other non-potentially hazardous foods. Milk may be used as a beverage or poured onto cereal. Fruits and vegetables can be prepared and cut on-site. The following fruits and vegetables cannot be served:(1) Cut Leafy greens(2) Cut Tomatoes(3) Melons of any type i.e. watermelon; canteloupe; honeydew; etc. Reviewed snack menu with operator. Individual string cheese and single service yogurt is allowed. No food preparation that involves cooking or food that require time and temperature controls is permissable under this health permit risk category 1.No food cooking activities will be allowed under this risk category. Snack menu checked OK with teh deletions of cream cheese unless individual prepacked for each child. Please call health inspector if center would like to include cooking activities or any changes in snack menu.
