This childcare kitchen will be conducting food cooking activities. Discussed with owner to complete a written "food safety plan" for each cooking activity; which incoporates hygiene; temperature; sanitizing; cross contamination and chemical storage requirements. * No cooking or food teaching activities are being conducted. This center has a food protection manager on site. Owner will be taking food safety course and initial examination sometime in 2016. A list was provided of classes for owner at time of inspection. No violations noted at time of inspection. Center has new owner for over 30 days. No cooking activities is occurrring at center at present time. Parents provide all food for individual child including snacks and beverages. Center will be providing water only. Please notify area health inspector if any changes occur with the snack menu for the center. This childcare will be reheating children's lunches. Discussed with owner celebratory food and heating up or warming up food for consumption verses reheating for safety. This should be stated in the center's parent's handbook.Notes:Cold holding noted 36 F. Thermometers present. Please de-ice freezer in kitchen; clean and sanitize throughout. No food is being stored in refer for childcare during inspection. Handsink properly stocked with liquid soap and sanitary disposable towels. Chemicals properly stored and labeled.

This should be stated in the center's parent's handbook.Notes:This childcare kitchen will be assigned a risk category 1 health permit. A Food Protection Manager is required for conducting food cooking activities and this manager will be responsible for over seeing the safe food handling operations of the center.Cold holding units checked OK and within regulations < 41 F. Thermometers present.Center is using 3 step cleaning process. A non-commercial dishwasher is on site in kitchen for washing and rinsing. Do use a kill step for sanitizing any food service equipment in bleach at 50-100 ppm fully submerged and than allowed to be air dried. OK to operate; OK to issue health permit.Please post the official health permit in a visible spot of kitchen once received via USPS. An annual inspection will be conducted within 90 days. This inspection will be unnanounced.
