Parents provide lunch for individual child and center provides snacks. All snacks served are within the scope of the operating health permit of the childcare. Crackers; craisins; cherrios and veggie sticks chips are served.Handsink properly stocked. Chlorine test kit on site.Reviewed with director food that can be served at childcare kitchen within its risk category 1. General Comments that relate to this Inspection The following corrections shall be made:1) Install a screen for window in kitchen. Windows must have screens on them if they are to be opened to prevent pest from entering.2) Acquire chlorine test kit for chlorine sanitizer. Chlorine sanitizer shall be monitored to be at 50-100 ppm. Use one cap of bleach to 1 gallon of water. 3) Post a handwashing only sign at one well at the 2 compartment sink. 4) Acquire 2 or 3 laundry tubs or plastic containers for 3 step cleaning process. All items such as dishes; cups; utensils must go through 1) Wash with soap or detergent than 2) rinsed with clear water and 3) sanitized in bleach and water at 50-100 ppm for 30 second immersion and than allowed to air dry. 5) Regrout perimeter around sink in kitchen.6) Clean throughout. Conduct a deep cleaning of all interior cabinets; knobs; pulls and handles.7) Provide a thermometer for reach in freezer. Childcare kitchen will be serving and cutting fruits and vegetables. The following fruits and vegetables cannot be served:1) Melons of all types.2) Cut leafy greens such as lettuce3) Sliced tomatoes.Center will be serving non potentially hazardous foods such as bulk crackers; chips; cookies; cereal; etc. No cooking projects will be conducted. Milk and juice beverages will be served. Individual string cheese will also be served. Lunches will be provided by parents. Pleas post snack menu on site in a conspicous spot. Menus most be retained on premise. This childcare kitchen will be permitted a risk category 1 health permit. Childcare center may serve milk and juice as a beverage or milk poured onto dry cereal. Fruits and vegetables may be cut except for the following 3 above. All cutting utensils; cutting boards; and food service equipment must go through the proper 3 step cleaning process. OK to issue permit; OK to operate. Please post health permit once received in a conspicous spot of kitchen. An annual inspection will be conducted within 90 days. This inspection will be unannounced.
