Cold holding 2 door reach in unit recorded at 38 F.Center is properly washing; rinsing and sanitizing food service equipment such as trays; water pitchers; scoops; etc. Snacks are served in disposable paper cups and plastic utensils. Center does not handle food with bare hands.Handsink properly stocked with liquid soap and sanitary disposable towels.Food properly stored. No chemicals stored next to food. Dairy dates observed current.Reviewed with operator to store all disposable cutery and paper cups away from the backsplash of water at handsink. Kitchen observed clean and organized.

Lunch is provided by parents and center provides snacks.Snacks consist of canned fruit and vegetables; cut fruit and vegetables minus 1) melons of any type 2) Cut tomatoes and 3) Cut leafy greens.All other snacks non-PHF and consist of crackers; cereal; and chips. Milk and water is also served in both disposable and reusable cups.2 door upright observed at 40 F. Food properly stored.Dairy dates current.Chlorine sanitizer made fresh daily and recorded at 100 ppm.Medications stored separately from food. Hand sink properly stocked. Discussed childcare center school gardening. Handout material given to director at time of inspection.

[3] CFPM or person in charge present; certificates posted as required Center prepares and serves tortillas and ham (sliced); reheating frozen foods such as: tator tots; french toast; pancakes; waffles; pizza rolls; quesadillas; biscuits and macaroni and cheese. These types of food require a Washoe County Food Protection Manager. This Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) must be a 30 hour employee.
[1] Single service: articles; storage; dispensing; used Observed plastic spoons improperly stored. Store utensils with handles up to minimize hand contact to mouthed end.
General Comments that relate to this Inspection Milk temped at 38.6 F at rach in refer.Thermometers present in both refer and freezer.Handsink properly stocked with liquid soap and sanitary dispoable towels. Food properly stored off ground.Please call health inspector on or before 06/01/13 with CFPM name and certificate #.
