Lemos Farm

Originally established in 1942, the Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay, CA, offers plenty of fun for children and is located just north of Burleigh Murray Ranch State Park.

The grandfather of the current farm owner, Bob Lemos, started the farm in 1942 with a few cows. It eventually became a running dairy, and one of the original tractors is still running and on the farm today. In 1979, Bob Lemos and his father, Arnold Lemos, started growing, cutting, and selling Christmas trees as a way to distinguish themselves from other farms.

Today the farm still sells Christmas trees in the tree farm, sells pumpkins in the pumpkin patch, and hosts parties for youngsters. They also have an outdoor laser tag field, a tractor that patrons can operate, and a farm camp during the summer.

Lemos Farms offers fun activities for children, including pony rides, train rides, a petting zoo, and the OK Play Corral. They also host children's parties. In the fall, visitors can enjoy the pumpkin patch and famous "Scare Zone." Lemos Farm is open on Saturdays and Sundays (daily during October) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Located about a 30-minute drive south of San Francisco International Airport, it is convenient to the Coastal Arts League & Museum, La Nebbia Winery, and Pillar Point Harbor.
