Telephone: (615) 321-4457
Address: 2219 Elliston Place

Description: A longtime fixture on Elliston Place, this hole-in-the-wall club is known for booking independent rock acts. We used to visit back in our ’80s big-hair days, when the club was known as Elliston Square and the whole area was called the “Rock Block.” The vibe hasn’t changed much since then. The club is still cramped, the music is still loud, and the sound sometimes isn’t so good, but if cutting-edge, indie rock is your scene, this is the place. The End has bands 5 to 7 nights a week. The cover charge is usually $7 to $15. The club sells beer and wine.
