  • Ensure sound condition of canned items. Found 5 cans with heavy dents/dents around seams.
  • Ensure proper use of gloves. Single-use gloves shall be used for only one task such as working with ready-to-eat food or with raw animal food, used for no other purpose, and discarded when damaged or soiled, or when interruptions occur in the operation. Found employee performing multiple tasks with out change gloves. When employee did change gloves, emplyoee did not wash hands before donning new gloves. This item has been corrected on-site.
  • Ensure approved water supply is provided. Water must be from an apporved source, sufficient capacity/hot and cold under pressure. Sink in pet area does not have back flow prevention device.
  • Ensure hand wash facilities are adequate and accessible. Found hand sink with no bot water. Hot water pressure was inadequate.
  • Ensure hand wash facilities have soap and paper towels. Hand sinks did not have hand soap accessible and/or paper towels acceible.
  • Ensure toxic chemical solutions ar properly labeled/stored/used. Chemical solution was stored on rack above ready to eat food items.
  • Ensure proper/adequate hand wash when changing tasks. Employee switched tasks with out changing gloves/hand washing.
