For me, if I were to read consumer lab reports it would be for the drugs, but since I take so few anyway, one can find all the pros/cons on the drug online.
Well, yes. That includes info on vaccines, too, if you ignore the anti-vax sites.

Personally I think that the medical profession should be amalgamating with all alternative healing.... theres a NHS doctor near me who has acupuncture and homeopathy in his clinic.. that was fifteen or more years ago so Im not sure if its became more now... Certain illnesses need more than medicine.. like my own , having MCS for most of my life, no NHS doctor will touch it.. now it s not a new illness .. Ive had it since the 1960s maybe earlier... I even was offered help from Prince Charles who is heavily into alternative medicines and always has been.. He referred me to a clinice in London of which he was patron ten years ago... but even they coudnt help... and said they dont deal with chemicals or wording to that effect....The only hospital I know of is the Breakspeare and it costs a fortune to go and stay there.. furthermore Ive spoke to a woman from Orkney who was sent there and she said in the sterile environment she did feel great but after a few weeks when she returned to normal everyday smoke and fumes she was back to square one.... Now if the NHS in the UK cant help and we cant afford specialists who to be honest Im not sure of... people like myself have to help oursevelves and find out what our bodies are missing and try to make it up as best we can.... I will never in my lifetime get rid of this sensitivitiy or whatever name they want to give it.. but at least I can help myself try and live as normal a life as is possible.. as the side effects of this illness are horrible to put up with... Couldnt doctors learn more and take onboard help from other sources... it could prove to be the turning point for many illnesses. We all have to take out heads of out the sand, this is the 21st century..

Maybe as there is no known cure for MCS... this is the reason doctors choose to either pretend they dont know about it or have never heard about it or ignore it.....

OPC Frequently Asked Questions
If pycenogenol works that's means it is biologically active - ie it is a drug.
What the heck do you think a drug is?

Also if it is biologically active (i.e. snake oil cures your allergies) then its gonna have at least some side effects. From the looks of it its a plant (tree bark) "extract" - that means there are going to be a whole pile of different hydrocarbon chemicals in it.

You can think what you want. I'm happy not to buy and take the drugs I was taking and allergist I was seeing prior to 1995. Allergist didn't do squat for me but take money. Thanks.

After taking Grape Seed Extract for awhile now it's done nothing to help with my allergies. They list on their label it's good for cardiovascular & immune health, so I'll keep taking it for those reasons. Who knows, maybe eventually it'll help with the allergies.

Will be trying Maritime Pine Bark in a month or two when I can afford it. Willing to try almost anything to get relief from severe allergies and allergy induced asthma. Something like Nasacort might help a little, which I haven't tried yet. I have tried Benadryl which didn't help at all.

You have to know that Candida overgrowth
is your problem.
Proceed from there.

I have started using a Zapper for mine (in addition to other things)- it has been proceeding nicely where the others only had mild to moderate effect. I still have to encapsulate my grape seed extract and pine bark extract that I got from Pure Bulk.

You have to do the research. Read this article:

Thanks OhZone. When I have more time I'll read up on it.

When I started this journey with the allergy mess, I took Pycnogenol and in about 4-5 days I was so improved, threw away the drugs and got the allergist doctor out of my mind. I took the LifePlus Pycnogenol for a total year until I found out about grape seed ex doing the same work only less $$. Swansons sell a 100mg Pycnogenol for under $20 for a 30 day supply. I still buy this product after all these years and often now I combine both as we've had a horrid allergy year, I hear this from so many and we all take OPC's.

Lately, I'm stuffy during the night and finding dabbing some Vicks around my nose helps a lot. I do this now before I go to bed. I don't know for sure WHY the changes as for me, I had no issues for 20 yrs. Maybe it's our dryness in CA with the draught.

OPC's are used in some cancer research, so I bank on that one too with these OPC's.

Prevention!!!

I just bought some pycnogenol from ebay, good price, and going to use both daily. For some reason, body change or whatever, I get morning mucus in recent months, I had not had this mucus for 20 yrs. Certainly not enough for drugs to be taken, but annoying.

The allergist I saw for a couple yrs sure had a good business going, no one getting better and that's the truth.
No drugs? You have said you take at least two medications, one for hypertension.
