If he blows himself up in this thing, we'll miss out on more of his "entertaining" posts......

But seriously OP, do you really have only a $400 budget? And what's your monthly (or weekly even) budget for repairs? (Or tolerance for breaking down all the time). Hint: if you buy something like this, spend the $50 for AAA, you'll need it.......

I would definitely have a mechanic or a friend with car knowledge go with you and check it out...I would imagine that you might have a few more issues to worry about driving 50 miles on the highway than just running out of gas.

God, this guy is without a doubt the most annoying person I have ever run into, but I think that is his goal. From now on I am just going to ignore any of his posts.

Best to check under the hood before closing on a deal like this. And inspect the headlights to see if they're original or not.

Don't forget to examine the upholstery

I have a 1991 Lumina that lost most of it front bumper last night that's out front right now. The upholstery is really nice.

This car wouldn't even pass vehicle inspection in MA with that big chunk of rust/rot on the rear quarter.

So $400, and you'd have to fix that befoe you would even be able to drive it on the road here

Pretty easy to fix a leak....just find it by filling the tank up all the way, get under there with a flashlight......they make quick repair putty just for that problem.
