It's certainly easy to compare rates now days on line. Don't Geico does include Road Service.

I live in Michigan, so $750 sounds dirt cheap. We pay more than that per month, but several cars and more than liability on some of them. We have shopped our policies several times over the years Geico and the one with Flo, are usually about 50% higher than competitive comanies. THe ones that advertize a lot tend to cost more The ones you have no heard of are cheaper. Make sure they are A rated. Try the military insurace if you qualify (you or a relative was ever in the military) however they have never been low for us. If you bundle renters or homewoners insurance with your car, it is uaually quite a bit cheaper for the overall insurance package.

This.

I am pretty sure Geico has something similar to this.

I have a 2017 Kia Forte and my son has a 2010 Dodge Charger. He is 30 with a good driving record. The insurance on his vehicle is more than mine with the same coverage because, according to the insurance company, his car doesn't have all the latest safety features. So it is true.

I was with Geico for years but when I decided to lease a car I had to have maximum limits (nobody tells you this when you lease the vehicle) and my insurance went up $100 a month! So I checked around, went with State Farm and saved $95 a month. Recently I switched again when State Farm raised my premium for no reason and I am now with Allstate.

Check around because different companies are naturally going to have different prices. Some will give you a discount if you have your homeowners or renters insurance with them.

What are your liability limits? Do you have the maximum of 100/300? You could lower your liability coverage to the minimum which used to be 10/30, don't know if it still is or what the PA rules are.

So you are paying $132 a year for liability only? Make sure you are doing apples/apples comparison. Insurance rate is very difficult to compare between policies.

OP: Go onto your Geico account and change that Tahoe to a Honda CRV.. see what it cost.

It's liability, so the safety features of your car don't matter. You have a large truck and it has the potential to cause a lot of damage. I'd shop your insurance along, but if you don't have a home, renters, umbrella, VAC... on your policy, you won't get the discounts and will pay more.

Seems high to me, but I have two vehicles with full coverage so my third with only liability is apt to be cheap (they're getting enough from me already).

Can't hurt to shop around though.

It only takes about 10-15 minutes to get a quote from Progressive and eSurance online; there may be other web-based insurers in your state too. Why not shop?

For a comparison, we are shopping our car insurance. The wife drives a 2017 Escape Titanium. Liability only part of the policy for $100/300,000 plus physical damage comes to $206.00. That's with Metlife on the old policy that expires in June. The new policy is cheaper by a little. That's also a 12 month policy. We pay cash in advance, no payments and pickup a little discount. If they handed me a policy for liability only and a $750.00 bill, I'd be looking somewhere else for insurance. The insurance rates are different from area to area but it's not 3 times the amount. FWIW, with my 2014 Supercrew and her car with full coverage and a Lincoln with liability only, our insurance is $1600 per year.

FWIW, I've also checked with the online insurance companies. They're the highest quotes I've encountered. You'll do better with an independent agent. I'd look in the phone book for a Safeco agent or any independent agent before anything online.
