Getting all we wanted from Framber now need to find a way to score. I really thought Altuve would end his rbi-homer drought and there's still game left but so far he's reverted to the slump. And Vazquez. WTF? Swings at a ball that would have hit him, watches a strike down the center, then grounds into a DP.

Astros stormed back into the game in the sixth. Mammoth center field blast over the batter's eye by Alvarez. It's about time. First homer for Yordan since the Seattle series.

After the 6th, I said to myself that the MVP should go to Pena, with an outside chance for famber, and sometime after that in 7th, the TV announcers said the same thing.

That's tough. We're talking WS not overall playoffs? No one player has dominated. JP has clearly outperformed expectations and is the big surprise. Without him, we are not here. And going into the playoffs, who was saying as JP goes the Astros go. But Framber. If we hang on, 2 WS wins.

Btw, that tag was close but I see no conclusive evidence to overturn a call. At the moment the one finger hit the glove, the other fingers could have been contacting the base.

Astros would be the first team to clinch at home since the 2013 Red Sox.
