pFffffffffffffffffffffffFFF; Lebrons got lots of other players to catch up with before getting to Air Jordan.
Completely disagree. He's caught up to everyone but Jordan. Not sure how anyone could see differently. Maybe you could make a case for Magic but that would be it IMO.
LeBron is a better all around player than Jordan was. Leave rings out of the equation since it doesn't amount to greatness. Some of the worst players have rings.
LeBron is a better rebounder. He was also more versatile in speed and hops.
Unlike track and field, players aren't ranked by metrics, so it's hard to stack players against each other. Ring numbers is the layman's way of comparison, but as we know, it means nothing.
Where Jordan clearly has Lebron is in agility and offensive moves, handle, mid range game etc. Lebron is agile and has good moves for his size. But it is clearly his size that has also made him so great.
The object of the game is still putting the ball in the basket. Jordan is arguably on another level when it comes to that. As far as all around game, in the playoffs, Jordan was often #1 or #2 on his team in assist and rebounds. That combined with a scoring load of 33.4 ppg on 50% shooting is what makes him the GOAT.
I agree. But it gets much closer when you throw in Lebron's assists and rebounds. It's part of the argument that is hardly brought up. And unlike Kobe, my favorite player, Lebron does score at that 50% clip.
What the stats don't show is that Jordan played in college unlike Bron and Kobe, and not only that, took time off between his his career. He'd have had more titles. MJ >>>>> LBJ. Fact!!!!!! Not even close

Lebron and Jordan both have 6 seasons where they shot 50%+ from the floor. And he did this while averaging more assists and rebounds than Jordan. Definitely the best all around player of all time. Beating a real opponent in the Finals sealed the deal imo.
There's really no way to compare. Jordan started older, took some time off. What would have happened with some extra years in the NBA? Who knows.
James spent many years with crap teams and never had the greatest coach ever. What would have happened with Pippen, Rodman, and PJ? Who knows.
Jordan did some things James hasn't done. James has done some things Jordan never did. What's indisputable is that James is the best player in the NBA today.

You should Google the definition of the word fact.

Jordan couldn't lead the Tarheels to the Final Four on his own. Georgia and Indiana were just too much for him. But of course, he could have been doing what Lebron was doing at the same age in the NBA.
