my grass does look amazing though! i just need it to dry out so i can actually mow it haha.
One of my biggest mistakes of the year is putting down some weed and feed at the beginning of summer. I've been paying for it ever since. So tired of cutting grass.

It's been a nice, cooler than average summer so far. But week before last was brutal - then followed several days by nice cool mornings and pleasant afternoons. Today was pretty sticky as well.

If we're complaining about stuff, regardless of whether it's news, I'd like to put an enormous spot light on the seemingly sport-like effort that the BWWB puts into making their asphalt patches as uneven and dangerous as possible.

I've never seen a utility company go so far out of their way to make things more dangerous than the way they found them.

That seems to be the practice of choice in a lot of places. What's even worse is when they resurface a street, having it nice and smooth, and then come along a few days later and dig a hole, resulting in a patch.

FYI...

Southern Research is in the developing process of demolishing "the castle" on their campus. Either next month or early next year. Building a six story building in it's spot.

That's sad. Maybe it's too much money to repurpose, damaged or packed with too much magic dust to abate.

The inside of it is really in bad shape. It was built in 1927. They already has inspectors come and condemned the building unsafe. A lot cracks and rotten wood in the foundation. Nothing they can do. They was told it's a possiblility it could collapse.
