I was sort of shocked to keep seeing a relatively empty stadium. I don't really understand that. Explain?

This is the 7th week of the season. Kinda too late now to understand FOX business plan. FOX isn't expecting sellouts of non- Stallion games. This was explain back in April. Enjoy.

What's FOX have to do with attendance and support by local residents showing up?? Odd, I mean it looks a bit embarrassing with an empty local stadium.

I'm not talking about "sellouts", I'm talking about seeing maybe (what looks like at least) maybe 500 people in the stands for godsake.

The Stallions games have good attendance (usually 15,000 - 25,000). The non-Stallions games do not, as you might expect. I'm sure that was one of the factors they wrestled with when deciding on a central hub vs playing in the teams' respective cities. Ultimately, they decided it was worth it. We'll see if that decision pays off.

Have you watched a game in which the Stallions were playing? You'll see 15,000-25,000 people in the stands easily.

You may be correct but that's not a lot of people for a "Pro League City", or what they call a big league city is it?

I mean if Birmingham football fans only show up and buy tickets for a pro football game where only the Birmingham team plays doesn't seem to bode well for the USFL does it? It looks a bit bad for the future it seems to me. I don't know whether that reflects negatively or positively on the city of Birmingham's pro sports support or the image to have a shocking camera shots of thousands of empty stadium seats.

The last game I watched on FOX, the camera panning of the stadium showed practically no one there, but the really odd and crazy thing, was that I was hearing very loud, but fake crowd cheering on every play.
Pumping in/over fake crowd noise for TV consumption was very noticeable but maybe that happens all the time, I don't know. Maybe it happens in the NFL, but I never notice it in Premier League or even NHL or NBA TV broadcasts. Maybe FOX believes it's fooling viewers??

Really I would not expect that. I would expect that any pro-league level city to have large crowd support, especially in a brand-new league.

Did the organization mis-calculate about Birmingham's support and attendance? I thought Birmingham had a high pro-league IQ/desire.

Did they make a mistake? wow

I'm sure Memorial Day weekend was probably part of the issue... but there was nowhere near "15-25k, easy" fans in the stands for the game yesterday. Probably less than 10k.
