I saw this on HBO last night and it will be rerun I'm sure quite a few times yet. If you're a boxing fan, you'll want to see this.

You arent kidding its a screwed up culture.Irish Travellers are generally feared and hated in Britain. In Ireland even more so.Put it this way if a non Traveller married a Traveller,it would be a source of great shame to the non Travellers family. But Travellers themselves almost never marry outside of their group.
They are NOT European Gypsies, they claim, and somehow have been recognized in Britain at any rate,to be a seperate ethnic group. In reality theyre Irish who took to the roads after Cromwell kicked them off their land, still more joined during the famine of the 1840s.
Bare knuckle fighting, horse dealing and a whole load of dubious practices tend to be how they earn money. If you ever get a chance watch the film "Snatch".The part Brad Pitt plays is quite realistic.
As for Tyson Fury.most people in Britain will be cheering against him as will most Irish. That is how much Travellers are disliked. His fellow countrymen will be praying he loses.
Many would love to see him knocked out and more than a few would love to see something a lot more drastic than that
