Can anyone confirm if it's MMA rules or boxing rules?

It's in the news today with FM saying it's "closer than ever". My first question is the one above..

Boxing rules, Floyd would never get in an Octagon with McGregor. McGregor would be stupid to not take this fight. He may only have a .000000001% chance of winning, but the payday would be far beyond anything he will get in UFC and far less risk of serious injury.

this is all about the money only. One BIG FAT MONEY GRAB. Who wouldn't take 100 million just to get hit in the face. One big freak show match. Anyways UFC won't be putting up 100 million. They'll need to raise money and people's interest.

It is no question a money grab. McGregor will not have a chance without MMA rules. I would LOVE to see Mayweather get his -ss beat in an MMA ring but he would NEVER put himself in that predicament.

If it's MMA rules Mayweather gets his ass beat. Straight boxing, McGregor has no chance.

Two different sports.

With all the back and forth with the greedy promoters, we will see Bigfoot Vs. The Wolfman before Floyd and Conor.

Is boxing in so much trouble that guys from different sports competing is the most exciting thing going on?

Yes, it is. Just take a look at the boxing forum on CD. It can take weeks to get a new post. It's not exactly in anyone's top ten anymore.
