My brother brought up my living here when I finally finish traveling. I am 70 after all.

I talked about wanting a tiny house eventually. I think though, rather than an actual house, a travel trailer might be the best answer. The only difficult part would be the winter.

Would I like to live in one in the winter? I don't know. I don't know how it would be insulated enough.

Things to think about. I'm not ready to stop traveling yet. I don't know when I will be. But it's good to put a plan in action, or at least think of a plan, for when it happens.

Summers up north in an RV/tiny home and winters down south, possibly? The yearly rate at Coyote Howls is less than a thousand. https://coyotehowlsrvparks.com/rates-coyote-howls-east/

That's still quite a bit. The LTVA'S in Quartzsite are $180 and a New Mexico yearly rate is $250. But it is a thought.

So cold, dran and dreary here. The dark skies will continue for much of the week, which means I won't get much done on the car.

That's okay though as it will lift at some point and I will be ready when it does.

I do have to get my clothes out and get them washed. Just waiting for some sort of break in the weather. Thankfully I did leave some here so it's not drastic.

Funny, but I don't mind this weather. I thought it might depress me but it doesn't. Maybe because I know, this too shall pass.

Geez, this weather is something else tonight. High wind, rain, rain and more rain.
There was about an hour of reprieve today but this weather has been unrelentless.

I hope it lets up at some point!

I forgot to add that there's thunder and lightning. Lots of thunder and lightning.

Personally, I like thunder and lightning but this has been extensive.

I haven't investigated enough but it's my understanding that any ranger station can sell a permit for a yearly pass. This is something you should check out yourself.

Watch utube videos on New Mexico camping. Watch videos on LTVA'S.

After a wild day of high winds, it's now thundering and lightning.

Crazy. Yet, nothing like what Houston and the surrounding areas are going through. I feel badly for them.
