Fact: there are more Cleveland Browns fans in Columbus than Columbus Crew fans.

And you have to go back 60 years for the Browns to win anything. Correction. That would be Baltimore.
The point is that simply having a winning NFL season, in terms of degree of difficulty, is a bigger deal than an NCAA championship.

Oh no doubt. Browns fans rock! We have a boatload of them in Cincy (not as much as Cbus no doubt) and have always enjoyed the rivalry and smack talk I used to engage at the local sports bars around here...

I'm beginning to think the fact that every thread on this forum turns into some kind of fighting match within the 3-Cs even when the topic is about something objectively good is the result of some kind of collective mental illness or trauma.

Cleveland and Cincinnati are both has-beens. They resent up and coming Columbus and anything positive having to do with it.

Again, apples and oranges. Within its peer group, it is absolutely first class. Peer group. No, it's not Paris or Amsterdam or Chicago, but it's a pretty nice place.

And Cincinnati is farther away from being Amsterdam than Columbus is. LOL

Cincinnati has its own identy and doesnt need to be Amsterdam or Columbus...Columbus is the land of sprawled stripmalls and recently developed soy bean fields that has no recognizable national identity nor much of a relevant history...so yes...apples and oranges.

Strange rebuttal considering Cincy is probably near the top of the list of U.S. cities that could be compared to a European city.
