Charley.........I can't give you rep, I did already.............so it says to me.
Thank you so much for going to find me for "more then" the game rep.
WOW, I didn't know game rep was down to one now. Will I ever get my brick?
Just a note.......My sister lives in Delaware, and I think the beaches there especially, Cape Henlopen are fantastic, and practially FREE.......
I love Delaware, I just don't love lot rents.......
Don't tell me you have to drive up to the Binghamton airport, up on that mountain.? Last May at 5AM, my taxi almost hit a deer right in the middle of the road. He was a quiet man, not talking much........Whoooowww, but that woke him up. The guy was talking like a lark after that scare.
That airport does sit on a mountain, way up. A daughter of mine lives half way up the hill with some great views.
Thanks again, for going out of your way........very kind of you

I just was reading back.........
I'm sorry about your Mom Charlie.......I know how difficult it is, and will be for awhile.
We only get one Mom to love. But, she didn't suffer longer and that is always a good thing.......Take things easy, and enjoy your time away............

Hi Summering. Thanks so much for your kind words. We really were very well prepared for quite a while, so we're all OK.

Thanks again.

Charley and Everyone, Thought I stop by and read about Delaware. My Godmother lives in Harrington and she enjoys her life there. I have never taken the time during my road trips from New York to Florida on I-95, Del-Mem Bridge to stop and observe the area. Is anyone familiar with Harrington? Whats it like?
Oh yeah, I didn't realize the rep system is worth more in the other forums. Thanks Charley for pointing this out.

Hi 2Goldens!

I'm about 15 minutes from Harrington, and it's a nice little town. It's now know for the Harrington Raceway and Casino (formerly Midway Slots) and also the home of the Delaware State Fair. Route 13 is the main highway going through there, and it's in Kent County. I like that little town! Once you're out of town going west, you are immediately in farm country and on the way to the Maryland/Delaware boundary (within 15 minutes).

Hey there gang!

Its been a while since I've been here... I hate being so cheap and trying to do my own computer repairs! Especially during the holidays, when there really is no time!

Charley... elizamary & fromPA told me about your mom at lunch last week... I'm a bit delayed in expressing my condolences but please accept them regardless. As far as I know, me and my boys would love to join the group at Where Pigs Fly on the 28th, if you don't mind a few kids along. If all goes well (for us), hubby may be free that day as well. We have no preference over lunch or dinner, as we should be free anytime with it being school break. I look forward to it!

JulieF - hope your travels are exciting, regardless of the exhaustion! Please do pop in from time to time to say hello!

Gotta run... kids to get off to school and then to elizamary's this afternoon. So much fun being a middle-aged mom!

Mary

Welcome back Mary. Hi Suzi (2goldens) and Molly. Thank you all for your kind words.

Mary, I'll note you for either/or (lunch/dinner) and then once know who's available for which meal, we'll choose the one that fits best, do a head count and then probably make reservations, just in case it's a big group.

Harrington slots is where I had my least success of the three casinos in Delaware. I did better at DelPark and for some reason, I always do well at Dover Downs.

Hi mary........Glad to see you up and running.

Delly, you are correct about Harrington. We also like that little town and ride down west to MD.
We take route 12 I think.

Charlie, I have won at harrington and so has bill. He never wins but hit it at Harrington once.
We plan to go back real soon.
Dover Downs is nice too but it is a toss up. Harrington slots is smaller.

Hey Delly.......How about the state fair. We went last year for the first time and found it to be so much fun. The weather was a tad too hot but they had so much there, it was amazing.
I had never been to a state fair before.

As we get closer to Dec 28th we will have to decide Lunch or dinner. I'm good with anything.

Delly, you live in DE, are you interested in meeting us for a meal on DEc 28th? Be real nice if you could.

See you later mary, if you need directions give me a call.

Hi Gang,

We'll have to wing it on the 28th. Precious grandkiddies coming into town from Atlanta late on 27th. Will be visiting until Saturday but don't have any definite plans yet. We may be able to join you but can't commit. We'll try to stop by though. Charley, how long do you and your wife plan to be in town?
