I can't think of anything I'm missing here, even after having experienced life in major cities on both coasts. In fact, some things that have recently arrived I wish had stayed away. (Yes, I'm looking at you TJ's.)

I have to admit I'm one of the California transplants that didn't care too much about Trader Joe's.

BUT now that it is here, I realize that I actually did use it quite often and it is a great addition to Denver. Now I just need a Frys!

I forgot about Frys, but we used to have one near us in California and shopped there once in a while.

I sort of miss Norms for some reason, but it's just a basic diner chain, so you can find similar diners in Denver. Maybe it's more of a familiarity thing for me. If In-N-Out comes to Denver, I'm sure that would make a lot of people happy. I don't eat beef or fast food, so wouldn't matter to me.

Agreed. Though hopefully the changes will happen in the next year, not next decade ... Downtown Denver is quite small and uninteresting.
