I do have some pics of the location, but since I was not there to conduct a serious investigation, but rather just to see if I could find it, the only pics I took are on my camera phone. very poor images. If anyone is interested in seeing these pics, shoot me an e-mail. I will be glad to share these with you.

Now that along with the so called lost gold mine in the Franklins kinda makes sense, anyway I recall a story that was told to me throught reliable sources about some El Pasoan being abducted at gun point at night by some armed men in some car, where they blind folded him and they took him for a ride.

Apparently the abductee said that he cooperated with these kidnappers,(had no choice) so he recall that he could'nt see anything, obviously been blindfolded but yet that the city lights could still penetrate the blindfold around his eyes, and that he could feel as they drove that they were climbing elevation which is typical of Trans Moutain highway, then he said they hit a bumpy dirt road and drove for a while till they came to a complete stop.

He was escorted off the car and he said it was pretty dark, he could see the neon sky out in the distant which was surounded by mountains when he was lead inside a cave and put to work in a gold mine, he said there were arm guards and that they put him to work for the night then early in the morning before daylight that they blind folded him again and took him back to town and droped him off.

I myself dont know since stories are stories till it happens to me or you.

hey, well so far i been doing my own "at my own risk" tours with just friends, we been into magic landing (which is a depressing time capsule), six poles, transmountain, concordia, evergreen, we went inside that house on rose street by viscount behind the valle verde community college next to some church, that place was creepy, though dangerous, we had to "break in" since everything was boarded up we had to climb to the rooftop through the side by the front, pretty creepy it's all tagged up though and the floors are lose some even have holes, and if you kinda go through the walls with a flash light youll see someone's tagging of a creepy clown face with red eyes, that is located to your left north wall if youre coming out of the basement (which is pretty creepy as well)though some moron typed "hell awits" forgetting the other a outside the house. Though i wish i knew the actual story on the house or if it was just abandoned for no "creepy' reason. we been looking for those witch holes said to be found around horizon, transmountain and central el paso, so if anyone knows, just messege me to theundetected1@aim.com . another question, i was at concordia, but i keep hearing but havent looked, that supposedly its divided into 2 parts?? like one's east and one's west of the spaghetti bowl, idk, we're also getting permission to get into el paso high, we've visited the museum of art, anyway, so far only in concordia and that white house i've had that eerie feeling, and in concordia there was a point where everyone who came along suddenly came to a stop cause we all felt like a 5 second cold feeling and goosebumps, i even felt a bit nauseas. later on we went into some very nice and green area, and my friend's brother and i heard a little kid say "hi" like twice, nobody else did nor believed us, and it was crazy cus the next day i read more on concordia and the rumors say children's voices are heard, though im not sure if that one area was "the area" where it was supposed to be heard, but i was surprised anyway cus i didnt even know about it yet i heard it, you would expect me to think i heard if i had already read about it, but i hadnt. as for the white house, i was always the one at the back where the light wasnt and i felt something following me or maybe it was just my head, but my friend and i (no not my friends brother again) kept hearing some weird moan. if anyone can give me more info on cool places let me know, im trying to start my own ghost tours, i just need advice on how to get the proper permission or if i should stick to the enter at your own risk stuff, thank you

if you're on the northeast, i would say just take joe battle, it's a long road that would start off the transmountain road, except dont go up to transmountain, just go the opposite direction its a straight line, the street before it becomes joe battle is called purple heart or purple heart memorial highway, keep going straight then ull hit joe battle which is basically the same road, you will know you're on joe battle once you've crossed montana, keep going all the way down, till you hit i-10, you will go left as if you're heading to horizon or fabens area (just careful cus i think the streets are all confusing but i think this one's not, though im not sure, point is, you will get on i-10 to your left coming down joe battle, once youre on i-10, keep going n going n going, you will pass through some street called east lake, which is barricaded, just keep going and you're gonna make a right on the mission community college, head inside the campus area, you will go to your right after entering, you will then go down some little mini road and youll notice a house is right infront of that street, before entering there's a sign saying drive at your own risk or something like that, well this house is owned by someone, its pretty nice, six poles is right behind this house, so the easiest way into six poles is to the right of the house, theres a little path sorrounded by bushes n trees, etc, and tada, six poles is there, but all this is at your own risk so yeah, youll notice the poles right away

its the white house behind valle verde epcc near viscount, its white , big 2 floors a balcony, pretty creepy, i been inside it, its tagged up, enter at your own risk, theres a little parking lot next to it, the basement is scary, the floors are weak so be careful, theres holes, its hard to break into it when it gets boarded up, i went in through the roof top, pretty dangerous stuff, i went in, heard noises along with another friend, some drawings creep me out, done by teens im guessing, well i think its a baptist house and rumors says supposedly a woman murdered her family and committed suicide, but these are just stories i hear from random ppl, i dont know the real reason why the house is abandoned. i posted another thing on it somewhere in one of these pages.

These are some great stories about El Paso. I moved away years ago but want to share a story.

After high school I worked at GTE as a security guard. GTE was located where the Wal Mart is today, right off Gateway West and Yarbrough. There were 2 buildings we needed to make rounds in, building 1, main building and building 2, annex. I was the low man and worked the graveyard shift. I always had these creepy feelings when making my rounds in bld 2. No one ever told me, but some guy killed an other guy in that building. I didn't find this out until something happened to me.

I was working my shift. I had made my rounds pretty quick and locked myself in one of the basement offices to fill out an application. I had been down there typing away when I heard my name called out. I called back on the radio and asked if anyone was in the building. I was assured there was no one. I joked if there was I was going to shoot them. I got these chills and had enough.

I took my paper work, locked the office and walked/ran back upstairs and out the door. When I got back to the guard shack the other 2 guys were there. There was no way one could have beat me there since the down stairs doors were locked with pad locks. They asked what was wrong, so I told them. They that's when they told me the story. After that I refused to make rounds in that building by myself. I was teased a lot by a few but there were some that said they had heard stuff in the building.

I told my kids this story and they think I'm kidding. I assured them, I'm not.

BTW; my tia used to live accross form Concordia Cemetery. As kids we used to dare each other to jump the wall and walk into the cemetery about 200 yards. The good old days..

Hello El Paso,

PITT has recently investigated 6 poles, and is currently in the process of reviewing our evidence. We will provide you with some basic information. First of all, 6 poles and the property surrounding it belongs to the Coldwell family. The inscription on the slab of stone laying within the poles reads "Towards the morn and rising sun" written by "Hesiod". Hesiod was a writer that lived 700 or 800 years B.C., on the opposite side of the stone is another inscription that reads "That I may live to see one more turn of this October sun". That was written by "Ballard Coldwell". There are two Ballard Coldwells, that we found, one was an El Paso Judge for 35 years, the other is still alive today and is a musician. The musician is a direct descendent of Judge Coldwell. The house that stands in front of 6 poles belongs to the Coldwell family, and members of that family still reside there today. The area surrounding 6 poles was just as interesting. There are some abandoned homes close to 6 poles that we just had to investigate as well. We entered the desert as well with a Hi-8 video camera, digital voice recorders, and digital cameras with hopes of capturing any evidence of paranormal activity. Members of PITT are still reviewing the evidence, and we will disclose any findings here on the forum.

Again thank you El Paso for providing us with great places to investigate. If you believe that you know of a place that has paranormal activity, feel free to contact me via
e-mail at txrattler76@yahoo.com. If you are interested in joining PITT, you may contact me at the same address. Thanks again El Paso.
