Not favorite character, but the one with the greatest name.
A lot of people do seem to be just listing fictional characters they really like. But as far as names go, here are a few that I think are particularly interesting in and of themselves.
Bilbo Baggins
Ziggy Stardust
T.S. Garp
Darth Vader
Inigo Montoya
Lucifer Morningstar (the name is a bit of a pun), Marjorie Morningstar (love the name but the book was stupid), Rhoda Morgenstern (I have to wonder if these folks are related)
Fitzwilliam Darcy
Pandora Spocks
From The Waltons: Zebulon Walton, Yancy Tucker, Marmaduke Bridges, Zuleika Dunbar, Fanny Tatum
From The Flintstones: Pebbles, Bamm-Bamm, Pearl Slaghoople, Grandma Dynamite, Eppy Brianstone, Ann Margrock, Jimmy Darrock, Weirdly and Creepella Gruesome, Stony Curtis
From Dark Shadows: Barnabas, Quentin, Josette, Angelique, Magda, Bramwell, Charity, Judah, Gabriel
Dorothy Gale (her surname is a pun, of course), Oscar Zoroaster Diggs, Elphaba Thropp/Elmyra Gulch, Glinda Chuffrey
Morticia, Puggsley and Fester Addams
Mike Wazowski (Monsters Inc.)
Pazuzu (Futurama) I always thought that the professor called him Asuzu.
Crush & Squirt (Finding Nemo)
Shnitzel (Chowder) The rada rada rada guy.
Kahn Souphanousinphone (King Of The Hill)
She's the one who makes everyone pronounce the writer's name as BAAAALL-zac.
