Yes, it's the last weekend for "Ramona."
If you've never been, then you don't know what you're missing.
First time I went was mid 1980's (mystery trip with Rotary Club.)
Been a coupla times since.
It's held at the Ramona Bowl in Hemet California. Been there 100 years. Horses, gunfire, the Rancho, a cast of a few hundred.
It's a love story of an Indian woman, and a Mexican man. During the 1700's-1800's this was taboo. Whether it's historically accurate or not, doesn't really matter. What matters is that it's 100% entertaining.
Edit~ Ramona only plays for 3 weekends a year.
