After having a barely functioning charger for months I got one of those cheap knockoff iPhone charger packs from Amazon. The authentic ones cost like $40. I got 5 of the knockoff ones for $13. To my surprise they worked great!

Also, a frivolous purchase to be sure, but I still buy DVDs from time to time. I got a three pack of the last three Mad Max films from Amazon for under $8. I watched the whole series over the last week. With the rewatch value I think as far as frivolous purchases go, it brought me great joy.

During the pandemic, I bought an old, obscure, out-of-print Bee Gees cd on Ebay, for cheap. It came from St. Petersburg, Russia so took a couple of months to arrive. But have enjoyed listening to it over and over and over, and am still not sick of it. Even learned to play some of its songs on the guitar. Now that's cheap entertainment!

Oh yeah, I bought this little USB-fan from Walmart for about $6.

Thing is pretty great.......all metal and it moves air pretty good for the small amount of power it uses.

Not necessarily cheap, but I enjoy shopping for used items on ebay. Getting something I really want and like in excellent condition at a great price, maybe half or a third of what it costs new, gives me great pleasure.

Slippers! I often walk through the house in bare feet in hot weather. I look forward to doing that. A couple of years ago my feet started to hurt after a day of walking on hard, resilient surfaces.

If 'cheap' is relative, then I picked up a whole bundle of road signs yesterday for about $500. Individually they ran me about $27 each, and one of them is related to a local tribal nation border (which is just as good as getting a state line sign in my book, if not better). Seeing it on my gate in my back yard brings a smile to my face every time.
