Single guy here and all I do is save money. I'm frugal but also don't even find things I want to spend money on. I don't care about cars. I don't go out and drink at bars anymore. I have everything I want for my house. I don't buy clothes. My hobbies are cheap or free. Is this normal?
I'm not saving for anything because I have everything I need. I'm saving by default because I don't have a desire to purchase things. I invest all my money in the stock market.

Define "normal".
Why do you care what others think about your spending habits? Why compare yourself to anyone else? If it works for you and you are supporting yourself without relying on other people, it's right for you.
IME most people go through periods in their lives when they tend to spend more, when they tend to spend less. If they happen to reach a period when they happen to own everything they want or need, they spend less. There are millions of people who never get to that point no matter how hard they try. Count your blessings OP!
I spend money mostly on things I have determined I need, want also comes into the equation, but it carries less weight.
My problem is coming to a conclusion on what is the best thing to buy, it sometimes throws my mind into a loop of endless calculations that sometimes makes the purchase nearly impossible.

I don't have a problem with it. I'm sure there are other people that do. I don't know what kind of friend group you have. There are friend groups that rely on people spending money like the bar scene or the people who want to sell you products from their mlm scheme or earn commissions from using you and your contacts for a commission. If you're happy and have what you need, some of what you want and are able to put aside resources for the future and have a healthy friend/family life, then don't worry about 'normal'.
It's fine--I'm the same way. But considering all the carping you've done about how little there is to do in Indianapolis (which I presume is your hometown), I'd have guessed you were going out on the town a few nights a week and having adventures every weekend.

Looking at some of your posts - you may want to work on some improvements on single guy and home.
There's a difference between "frugal" and "miserly".
"A miser is a person who is reluctant to spend money, sometimes to the point of forgoing even basic comforts and some necessities, in order to hoard money or other possessions."
