If my math is correct, it would mean that one of your great-great-great-great-great-great grandparents was full blooded. So yeah, it's a novelty but nothing else. My ex mother-in-law threw a fit when I wouldn't jump through the hoops to get that same 1/256 card for my kids, claiming that I was denying
them their heritage.

That means that you are removed from your closest Native American ancestor by eight generations and something like 150-200 years. To answer your question, not much. That far back in your family tree there are 256 people contributing genetic information to the sum that eventually became "you". That's pretty dilute. 1/256 of a gallon would be a little less than 1/2 ounce. If you put 1/2 ounce of fluid (6 teaspoons) in an empty gallon jug it doesn't look very compelling.
I'm going to take a wild guess and venture that you do not express any Native American phenos...
My grandmother had light brown hair and ice blue eyes. She was 1/4 Cherokee. She remembers that her grandmother didn't like her; called her "White Eye". I would never actually claim heritage because it would be ridiculous and reprehensible for me to do so. I have no ties with that culture after 4 generations.

About as remote as if you were a child today descended from Abe Lincoln. Kind of shows how ridiculous people are who claim Mayflower descendency.
That CDIB card will get you enrolled in a Federally Recognized tribe. The Cherokee Nation is a decendency tribe so no blood quantum is required. Several tribes are like that.
It might not mean much to you now, but it could in the future. I am indian with significantly more "blood quantum" than you yet, unless I can unravel my genealogy I will never be enrolled.
