I agree. If they are going to cancel the ACC Tournament, the whole NCAA Tournament should be canceled
That's a near certainty at this point. NBA is also suspended and the NHL will likely announce the same today after telling teams not to practice. The MLB is likely to delay the start of their season as well and Spring Training has been suspended.
Interestingly, the timing could play well for the Rockers. Things may start clearing up around the time their season starts.
If there's no spectators, I don't understand the need to cancel.
It makes them look pretty bad (and very greedy) from a PR standpoint with the NBA suspending games, the colleges themselves canceling in classroom activities and the NCAA still trying to have games going on. Also could potentially open them up to liability suits later if one of those athletes catches and spreads the virus to others on their watch.

Greedy how? They'll refund all ticket money, so thats a loss. I think we all could use a little diversion right now.
in light of recent events, the acc and ncaa 1st and 2nd round games need to be held in greensboro next year due to cancellations.
