Yes that was posted a year ago. They better get busy if they are going to get to 23 in a few years. Year 1 is almost gone. 0 so far.

What's happening across from the Simpsonville Short Stop? technically, it's Mike and Jack's now, but.. Figure more people know the Short Stop name.

Looks like it's either going to be a few small duplexes or maybe medical offices.

Curious as to what is being built on Laurens Rd near the TPM office not far from E. Washington.(same side as Willy Taco) Empty lot with equipment on site and Mashburn Construction signs. I believe their was some type of old retirement home facility on that lot many years ago before it was razed.

Checkers does not want to participate. It built a location in Taylors that never opened and closed its two Greenville locations. If it is serious about participating in the market, it needs to take action and do something.

Checkers does need to get it going if it wants to have stores in the fast growing upstate market but would it be good to have Checkers here. Also, I am surprised Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson don't have a Krystal yet.

I find it humourous that Gaffney seems to have a lot of fast food that the rest of the upstate doesn't have yet like Popeyes and Krystal (I do know that Popeyes is being built in Powdersville and Greer). Maybe it is Gaffneys proximity to Charlotte or something?

There was a Krystal on Woodruff Rd. for many years. It closed late summer/early fall last year.

Krystal was not serious about participating in Greenville. If it wants to take growth seriously, it will need to be proactive in planning, execution, and operation.
