Fairview traffic is already as bad as it is especially with the Harrison Bridge and Fairview intersection. If Texas Roadhouse rumors are true. Well, they are going to have to seriously do something with that intersection.

Not really. It needs work regardless if TR comes or not, but I dont think that TR coming requires work at that intersection. Thats like saying the intersection at Fairview and Grandview needs reworked because of Outback, and Outback is actually AT the intersection.

What's going to need to be done is widening Fairview down to 418. At a minimum two lanes adding a center turn lane.

Seems I recall something about that several years ago, but there was a good bit of opposition to it by the landowners closer to 418. They sued and won. Ill have to see if I can find that again. I personally would love to see something done. That stretch is dangerous at night time.

Noticed that the long-closed Corona Mexican has reopened on Wade Hampton Blvd.

Also, saw new signage for a "Pita Village" and and "Pita Bakery" in the small strip along with Joe-Joe's Seafood.

Checked today on the GIS website and saw that they bought the land behind Kevin Whitaker's used lot, but did not buy the corner lot. There's three parcels totaling about 6.5 acres.

Information is verified.

Ingles has developed new stores on properties with six to seven acres.

The corner lot, notably as Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet from its relocation on North Pleasantburg Drive, and the adjacent lot on Hawkins Road could be coveted if Ingles wants to move forward in developing a new store.

Does anyone know exactly when Dave's Hot Chicken is supposed to open on Woodruff Rd? Construction is progressing, but seems a bit slow.

From what I heard recently, Culver's of Cherrydale should begin work in about 3-4 weeks.
