Saw this in the Columbia newspaper about retailers and restaurants Columbia residents desire and don't have like Apple, PFChangs,Cheesecake Factory, Cabela's, TopGolf, H&M, Harris Teeter, TopGolf. Believe they just got Costco about 2 years ago and REI opening soon. We are really fortunate to have the mix we do in the upstate.
Agreed...and that article from the State described gas station chains that people in Columbia want, and mentioned that Columbia doesn't have an Apple Store? Wow. I thought that every city had an Apple Store and that nobody had enough time on their hands to care about gas stations.
I like Columbia. That article makes it seem pitiful, but it's not.
I liked the quote from the retail expert, stating that downtown Greenville has a condensed pocket of money, making it an easy choice for retailers.
