That it is and pretty popular place too. Has many locations scattered throughout the area.
I don't know anything about that place, or much else being that I'm new. But I will tell you we went to the Papas and Beer on Haywood last night (I've been to the one in Hendersonville a few times) and it was great!!!!! Place is huge. My friend who hadn't been there before loved it. I love the bean dip they bring to the table, and the salsa bar was great. Tried avocado salsa, was pretty good. I'll definitely be going back THERE again, will be one of our favorites. So far, Flounder Bar & Grill, Huntin Camp and Papas and Beer are the 3 restaurants I've tried so far that I'd go back to again (okay, I've been back to Flounder more times than I can remember, and HC 3 times)
Has anyone eaten at Brioso on Pleasentburg ib G'ville? We think it is awesome, plus plenty of healthy choices. Not many places make pasta in house. I saw someone mention Huntin Camp, we picked up BBQ and hash Sat and I have to say it was some of the worst ever. No flavor and full of fat and grissle.
I heard some people were protesting against Hoops and Hops opening? Did anyone else here anything?
It's a poor name for a business IMO and doesn't really fit in with the downtown restaurant scene (based on the name). Beyond that, I don't know much about the place. Assuming it is a sports bar?
I saw that they cleared some land on Wade Hampton by the Taylors Post Office. See in the Greer paper today that it's going to be the Ironwood Golf Driving Range.
DOOBSTER, I'm not sure who else may have mentioned Huntin Camp, but I did for one. I've eaten there 3 times without a single complaint, I've had their BBQ sandwich and their Brisket Sandwich. They don't put any sauce on it, they bring one of 5-6 kinds to the table and let you put it on yourself. I didn't add anything to the brisket, it's delicious as it is, for me at least, but definitely the BBQ needs it. As for the hash, can't say anything about that at all, I've never eaten hash in my life. I've only had their hush puppies, which I find to be very good.

It's Puerto Vallarta. I agree it's better than Monterrey. I've been to a couple of the Monterrey restaurants -- the one near Haywood mall on Congaree and the one on Poinsett Hwy out toward Furman. Didn't like either one.
