Where to put the bed?

but I'm married now, and spouse would like to be in the bedroom with the a/c on, me, not so much so I had a door installed, but thought of a solid 6 panel door to match the rest of the apartment, but then thought if spouse is in there it would be like being cut off from the rest of the apartment, so I solved that by having a french door with the glass in it.

In regards to privacy, we don't need it as were the only ones that live here and no one comes to sleep over and if they do, I just put a tension rod with a sheet across the door, easy, but that happen once every 2 years if that.


If I could though, Id like to place my bed to the left of the door, the bed would fit with only one night table, and I have two. I wont like one because the wall wont be balanced, but on the other hand I wont hear the tenants in the next apartment behind my headboard which can really put me to the test, but they are nice people **sigh**



The walls need to be painted desperately, but the window wall had leaks and needs a skim coat, and, ugh, the beat goes on......

That's a nice door! Perfect for what you describe. I favor screen doors myself lol. I have two, one in the bedroom doorway as mentioned and one in the stairwell doorway.
