In Fairfield Bay AR, the weather forecast for the entire week was dead wrong almost the whole week. It was supposed to be overcast Sunday and Monday (We landed in Little Rock Saturday). We woke up to great weather Sunday and the forecast kept pushing out the overcast. After seeing some of the ATV trails around the area (90 miles of them) we decided to go ahead on the ATV ride rain of shine.

It was a gorgeous day and we both think it was the best ATV adventure we've ever been on, including Sedona. We had our own SXS (a Honda Pioneer 1000), and our guide took us up to the top of an overlook. We had ordered a "solar kit" a long time ago that had 2 pairs of glasses and 2 little solar protectors to go over our phone's camera eyes, plus a free download to an app to help you focus and get the best shots. In my opinion the app was worthless but so was my phone. My husband wound up getting behind a guy with a Samsung S23 Ultra who was taking amazing pictures with his. I've still got the S21 base model and this has made me decide to upgrade LOL

The difference between the packed parking lots through the entire resort was a huge difference the next day! We were the only ones left! It only was overcast one day the whole time we were there. We stayed til Saturday and flew back home.
