huffbuffer - making up stories does not provide "a good read for everyone", especially not when you 'stretch' a story to disparage nice people and a successful business. Making up stuff seems to be a pattern with you, which IMO diminishes the utility of the forum.

BTW, the C-D Terms of Service prohibit "consumer complaints", so I'm pretty sure the mods would frown on false consumer complaints.

I complained the BBQ at either location wasn't great ( as stated by others as well). No other complaints were registered by me.

And calling out other members would also be frowned upon by the mods. As that seems to be a pattern here with some members....

Regards
Huffbuffer

huffbuffer = "We asked the gentleman at the register about why there are two and is there any difference. Well long story short, we were promptly removed from the premises."

huffbuffer = "Obviously the story was stretched to create a good read for everyone."

huffbuffer = "I complained the BBQ at either location wasn't great... No other complaints were registered by me."

This is huffbuffer in his own words, demonstrating why readers can't trust his posts. huffbuffer creates fiction then lies about it.

huffbuffer created the hoax of being 'removed' from the restaurant then admitted to 'stretching the story'. Obviously, not everyone thought that this fiction was a good read - ChrisMartin42 found the story "shocking" and felt compelled to defend the restaurant.

huffbuffer then claims that he made "No other complaints" against the restaurant except for the food, however in his OP he complained about having been "promptly removed from the premises". More fiction.

Ive always wondered why Non-Fiction is the truth and Fiction is not true. I continuously got that wrong in elementary school.... regardless, this forum has prompted me to try the greenbrier off 565 as I have already tried the one on old highway 20. That one had good hushpuppies...

The feud has existed since then. Both were here when I moved here in Aug. 1990, so it's been going on for at least that long.
This is a very interesting thread. I read it last week and happened to be in the 565 location for lunch today. I asked our server, a sweet older country lady, if the other location had the same menu. She said, "oh no, thems fightin words round here. our food is better and cheaper too".

I forgot to look for the article in the lobby about the feud. I will have to go back to read it and have a few hushpups. Absolutely delicious.

The only one I've ever visited is the one at Greenbrier and Highway 20.
