Man! Can you introduce me to this person? Anyone willing to give away a 900 dollar grill certainly has more money than they know what to do with.

I have one - I never use it for grilling, just BBQing.

Grilling is high-temp cooking over a heat source (steaks and burgers), BBQing is cooking at a lower temperature (usually around 225°F - 250°F) using indirect heat for a longer period of time (pulled-pork and beef brisket). BBQing renders the fats and connective tissues in a cut of meat.

Aha! Thank you! Color me educated...I know absolutely nothing about grilling/BBQ'ing - that's hubby's domain...my culinary expertise is in the kitchen! He's been learning as he goes & have my rare steak down to a science & the pork chops were awesome!

I've been BBQing for twenty years, but my wife is the expert at grilling - I tend to overcook everything I try to grill. However, when it comes to pulled-pork - I use a nice dry rub and finish with a vinegar-based thin sauce for some yummy pig candy.

That would a great weekend! But, it looks like October is the month for us to get visitors, already have 2 sets of visitors booked for the Hotel B&G! I swear we've had more visitors since we moved to AL than we did in VA! And...everyone loves it!

It was actually used and from a friend that was moving away and could not take it with them. I offered to pay them for it but they wouldn't take it!
