But he can't be ordered to lie, and saying you can't recall when you obviously know is lying. Better to just say "no comment" or something of the sort. I still wish Shelby was in Tuberville's seat.

Here is the video of that exchange. Senator Tubberville is around the 2 hour mark.

Understand the senior Senator from Alabama is somewhat new, but compared to Senator Scott, it was not a polished q and a. It’s a benefit that AL.com took out the ums out of Senator Tubberville’s transcript. And General Dickson’s replies on forgetting all relocation studies is remarkable but Senator Tubberville simply ended with something along the lines of we can all get along. Not worth a news article but it was a slow news day on Wednesday.

Seems Colorado only ace is that they voted for Biden, where Alabama didn’t.
The question is can Biden endorse a decision Trump initiated?
https://www.al.com/news/2023/03/whit...port-says.html

Tuberville also said, “President Biden’s own administration has repeatedly confirmed the selection of Huntsville as ‘strategic’ and an ‘analytically based process.’”

On June 16, 2021, the president’s acting secretary of the Air Force told a congressional committee, “I have personally no evidence that the decision was politically motivated.” Acting Secretary John Roth said the “selection of Huntsville as the preferred location by my predecessor was the result of our strategic basing process and that process is an analytically based process.”

From that same article: '"The White House appears ready to reverse a Trump administration plan to relocate the U.S. Space Command from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, Ala.,” writes Washington Post national columnist David Ignatius.'

But it's not political ....

Only from Colorado side, they have been trying to find a truthful reason to keep it in Colorado. They can’t.

Only that Trump made the decision to move to Huntsville. I have a feeling that's enough for this administration. Basically, Biden has countered every move that Trump made.

We already do. But I think he was almost 90 - probably had run out of steam.

I think the only way the Space Command is ever moved to Huntsville is if a Republican is elected as President in 2024. Then the move will happen early in 2025. Otherwise, things will stay the same with Space Command staying in Colorado.

The audacity to have a president to weight into the major decisions about relocating military headquarters is unbelievable. Wait, now we have a president that is full of hubris and wants to solely change the location of a military headquarters, within a bubble, despite multiple high level reports that universally agreed the best spot was the opposite decision.
