If the parents are here illegally and get caught, they should be deported. It doesn't matter if they have anchor babies. In fact, if the parents do get deported, they should do what any decent parent would do---and that is take their kids with them.
There isn't much economic freedom in his home country of Guatemala.
And Americans are losing their economic freedoms by the presence of millions of illegal aliens here. There is no economic hardship category in our refugee policies nor should there be and that does not justify coming here illegally instead.
If they are here illegally, they should be deported.
Exploiting your own children by coming here to give birth just to get around the laws is pretty hideous.
And why should someone who didn't have a bunch of children here be deported while those who gave birth get to stay? The whole family could join their loved ones back home in the other country or if the adult children prefer the money here and have US birth certificates, their choice.
Get out, and take your kids with you. Nobody's forcing them to leave US-born children behind. Nobody. In fact, we WANT them to take their kids with them...kids should be with their parents. It's why we sent Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba.
Illegals without kids are generally a lot less costly for the taxpayers -- why not keep the workers who didn't have a bunch of kids they can't afford and toss the welfare moochers?
Then don't make the kids U.S. citizens under a DREAM Act. Problem solved.
